When is the best time of the year to replace my furnace?

We often hear the question, when is it the best time to buy a furnace? Are they less expensive in the summer?

Good news, our prices do not change! As we keep our same competitive pricing for a furnace year round, unless we get an increase from the manufacturer. But also keep in mind that we are busiest during the hottest and coldest times of the year! Therefore our schedule can fill quickly. So being proactive can save you the discomfort of dealing with a cold home!
The average lifespan of a furnace is 15-20 years (when regularly serviced). A furnace beyond 20 years old has the highest risk of failure, and the potential of failure increases as temperatures drop. Our technicians will be able to give a report as to the age and condition of your furnace during your annual maintenance. Regular maintenance of your furnace is important, not only to keep your furnace operating properly, but also as a way to be kept informed as to the condition and life expectancy.
